Clout is a new age word for the well known term “swag”. Clout being a noun is used to describe a fashionable item that will often turn heads. In an adjective form it can be used to describe something more influential or just overall dope.

A person who pretends to care about a specific topic, ONLY because it is a trending topic on social media or in a social circle that the person is not apart of. Reasons for a person clout riding, may be because the person wishes to feel apart of something, or is seeking attention from others.
