Coaches award

Basically the sporting equivalent of the "Teacher's pet". Usually (but not always) awarded to the worst player on the team. Common characteristics of kids that receive this award are a good attitude, courteous & considerate, willing to help pack up, and determination despite obvious physical and technical shortcomings. Sometimes it will also go to the kid with the hottest mom.

I knew Jeff was getting the coaches award! He's always sucking up to Coach Taylor.

Game Awards 2020

The Game Awards 2020 was horrible, The Last Of Us II won. As Gabe Newell canceled Half-life 3. They could at least chose Doom Eternal or Animal Crossing New Horizons and maybe even Half-life Alyx. But as In super smash bros, we got a new character sephiroth another sword character. But as of now I don't wanna talk about more of the Game awards 2020. I felt bad for Gabe Newell.

A friend: Hey! Have you seen the game awards!
me: I don't wanna talk about it.
A friend: Why not?
me: *Sniff* WHY COULDN'T HALF-LIFE ALYX WIN THE GAME AWARDS 2020!?!?

Coach's Award

An award given to a person who has bribed the coach in some way, most likely through sexual favors. If multiple athletes attempt to do so, it will go to the athlete who is able to better please their coach.

Q-Hey how did Justin get coach's award he can't even make a basket?!
A- coach's husband just left so I think we all know how Justin got it!

an awkard amount of money

An amount of money that at face value is significant and helpful, but doesn't come close to what is necessary for your needs and obligations.

I won $50,000 in the lottery! An awkard amount of money. It's like $32,000 after taxes. I have like $200,000 in student debt and my annual overhead is $100,000 and I owe $40,000 on my car. I can't really do anything with this money. It's a lot, but it doesn't really help in my day to day lifestyle and doesn't make much of a dent in my debts.
