Refusing to listen to the friendly advice of friends and helpful strangers (and yes, even the mirror) regarding your fashion to the point that everyone around you looks at what you are wearing and/or how you are accessorizing and thinks "Is s/he insane?!"

I just got the latest "people of wal-mart" e-mail and man those people have a bad case of fashionsanity.

It's over 100 degrees outside today and my kid wanted to wear a hoodie. I tried to talk him out of it but he's already developed fashionsanity. So young too. It's sad.

1. A person who is a Brand Whore, and will wear ANYTHING pricey or ridiculously expensive even though it is hideous.
2. A person who brags about owning or wearing expensive items to people who obviously do not care.

"I just bought this guitar amplifier made of Baob wood from Tanzania, its so heavy I cant lift it!!! Cool right?"
Response: "mm-hmmm yeah how are we gonna get it to the studio?"
