Devon Prep Guys

Between the prep schools of the Philadelphia area...Devon should be considered the underdog. Devon guys arent as rich as Malvern guys or as sports-oriented as the Prep (St. Joe's) but they excell where the others fail. While the others take themselves too seriously, a Devon guy will make you smile by doing the goofiest thing you've ever seen. They're not stuck up and really down to earth, totally approachable and friendly to the core. Generalization is impossible at Devon, as each person is an individual, a motley crew that may be shunned by jocks but has anyone ever seen Animal House? Who won? Roll Tide

the Devon Tide, as in sports team, yes they do have a sports team and yes they do beat Malvern frequently, sorry we don't have a hockey team though...

english prep

An english prep is very different to an american 'prep'. In england the word 'prep' isn't used, there's no real catagory, but you can easily spot them.

Girls wear the likes of Pashminas&Scarfs, All saints belts, UGG boots, Benefit, too faced etc makeup. They shop at designer stores such as All saints, Harvey nichols, Harrods, Selfridges &co etc. They also go to non-designer stores such as TopShop, H&M, Zara, Miss Selfridges.

Guys wear white trainers, poped ralph lauren and lacoste polos, scarves, baggy expensive faded jeans, tanned, extreemly handsome hair, sometimes in mohikan thingies, or over face, or just wow.

They Attend private schools, have rich familys, flashy cars, and Dolly-bird mothers.

An English prep doesnt stick to one trend, it follows the latest fashions.

Anti-Prep

A group of people defined by another group of people. Anti-Preps are the reactionary result of preps, therefore they are a product of that which they hate. (making them hate themselves, maybe?) Neither group being better or worse then the other, only different from one another.

British Prep

A British prep is different to their American equivalent. Rather than wearing tracksuits and Abercrombie and Fitch t shirts, the British Prep tends to opt for Brogues or plimsoles, Polo shirts, Tank tops and chinos. These are usually bought from Ralph Lauren and such. British preps almost always go to private schools and enjoy pastimes such as yachting, golf, tennis, badminton, polo and going to the races.

Surfer Prep

Cross between Skater and Prep. Very relaxed and possibly likes the "hippie style." Often times never surfs but likes to wear surfer brands although this doesn't necessarily make him/her a poser (unless they actually talk about surfing even though they never do it).

Dude, they ladies dig the surfer prep look, they'd like it even better if you actually surfed, poser.
