Mispedery

The hatred, dislike or lack of respect for children beyond what is the justified amount authority over them. This can manifest itself as denying the child certain freedoms such as choosing whether they take life saving vaccines, exploring their sexuality at their own discretion or just simply demanding unearned respect by virtue of being the adult.

Along with Misogyny, mispedery is an enduring problem in our society in which an ostensible admiration for someone's "innocence" or "virtue" is used as a means of denying them autonomy. It is an extension of the same patriarchal ideology that oppresses women and men alike, though in different ways.

Like with adult women, the remedy is a matter of "love me less, respect me more".
