Rails To Trails

An American faux exercise/railroad reclamation trend. Derelict train tracks are converted into foot and/or bicycling paths. The minute grades needed for the trains make the trails easily traversable, even by invalids.
I walked fifteen miles on the new Pine Creek Rails To Trails. I walked fifteen hundred feet, on a hiking trail and had to be Medevaced to State College Hospital.
