Popeacolypse

A term referring to our modern era of popes. With the resignation of Pope Benedict were are now in the era of the final Pope (per the prophecy of the popes, attributed to Saint Malachy, which holds that this new pope John the Roman will be the last pope, and the judgement). Thus we are in the Popeacoylpse, the "final days" of the Pontiff.

CNN Announcer "This just in from the Vatican, a frontrunner in the papal succession race has emerged, Giovanni Agerrett. Is this a sign of the Popeacolypse?"
"No man, I don't believe in the Popeacolypse. I am still waiting on the Mayan thing to pay out."
