a form of music with hard fast delivery. simple and effective sounds, mainly focussed on a message. message is ussually unity, anarky, strength or public power. can range from straight edge to emo-core. has a dance style with it known as circle pitts and ninja pitting. some bands include most precious blood, alleged, from the ruins

at the hardcore gig we formed a circle pit and everyone thrashed, or ninja pitted. the music was loud and hard.

Hardcore Dancing

Ok, I always had a nagging suspicion that emos and "hardcore" kids (emos with spiked hair who curse a lot) were pathetic faggots, but when I saw hardcore dancing for the first time, my preconceptions were confirmed. Hardcore dancing consists of some 90-pound little twat with greasy black hair flailing his limbs around, punching and kicking the air. Though annoying, pathetic, and downright retarded, it is a suitable method of dancing to emo and "hardcore" music, as the music takes no talent to create and sounds like a pack of whining retards, so the dancing should be similar. Hardcore dancing is a disgrace to moshing. You can say metal is a thing of the past all you want, because it doesn't make the present trends (such as emo) suck any less. Fags.

Hardcore dancing is another reason why the emo and "hardcore" scene should be extinguished forever.

Dancing or simply moshing, is an expression of the audience's emotional response to Hardcore music. Not just a dance but a social device. People can relate to people who share common enjoyment of the dance. Some hardcore kids look down on those who dance like crap. Some don't dance but hate mosh which is different from dancing in the respect that it is done in the crowd, generally with the intention of injuring spectators or those who are being disrespectful to the music, band, scene etc. Scnene kids are considered to be an abonination of the true hardcore scene in that they only show up to shows to be "trendy" and have no affiliation with music and are obsessed with being "Brootal". Some just like the fashion, whatever. anyways...Getting hurt is just something that happens at hardcore shows,during the dance. two stepping, floor punches, windmills, and spin kicks are common. so are broken noses, bruises, bloddy lips and sometimes broken bones. actually, this is bad def. of hardcore dancing and is basically an overview of hardcore in general. ha ha enjoy?

breaking shit, punching posers, hardfelt lyrics. kicking holes in the walls. throwing elbows, twosteppin your ass off. Respect, Friends, Family, Forever.

Ex.) Hardcore dancing is kinda a stupid word to describe it, try the word "Mosh". not like Butt Metall Monkey Moshing though, it's different, it's better. It involves skill.

hardcore is a form of punk rock, original hardcore started in the 80s with the downfall of old school punk rock. hardcore is based around the same music dynamics of punkrock where the band often plays at a veryfast tempo and the band members often play uncomplicated riffs. this is true of original hardcore although nu hardcore of the late 1990s and early 2000s often contains complicated instrument solos. the music is made to apeal to a very select anti-mainstream audience and there fore the lyrics and music of hardcore is often fery ruff and scetchy. to a manstream musician hardcore would seem very ugly , but to the true hardcore fan the music is in its own way a beautiful thing, hardcore has a lot of depth to it that most people dont find. with the emergence of emo however hardcore has been turned into something that its not. emos are very mainstream and often copy the dress sence of hardcore fans although most emos dont truley listen to hardcore, and if they do its only for the newly won popularity of it.the dress sence of the hardcore fan is often very anti-mainstream and although hardcore fans do conform to a singel dress sence its only to show that they are against every thing that mainstream is. for example a hardcore fan typicaly wears second hand clothes and non-branded clothes so as to beat the mainstream fasion machine. they will wear hoodies to keep warm but often no other type of jacket. the hard core dress sence is often very practial. and it there is any writing on a shirt it will suport either a band or an artist of some type. hardcore is the new age punk that stands for bringing down a corupt socity...do not confuse hardcore with emo. emo is a fasion and will die out as quick as it has started, hardcore on the other hand , although the music has slightly changed since its beginings still follows the same guidlines it has for some 20 years.hardcore will last emo wont. yes hardcore has its fasions, but those fasions are to stay the minority not the majority. to truely be diferent.

Post Hardcore

A genre that once related to fugazi but now is related to pussies like Alesana, and A skylit Drive. A genre for kids who follow the rules and attend Sunday School every week because they're good children, and if a song doesn't have a breakdown than it's not good song.

Trapped Under Ice scares me so I'll listen to two guys fucking each other with some guitars that's true post hardcore beauty.
