Why in the world do people watch Laguna Beach? These people are stupid and uninteresting. It doesn't matter whether or not it's a reality show. Either way, it's so damn boring. No story, no interesting characters, no genuine emotion or genuine anything, for that matter. Just pretty people and pretty cars and pretty houses and pretty beaches that are all completely meaningless.

Get the beach boner mug.Very nice area in Brooklyn, lots of Russians living there now, causing a great deal of jealousy among the old white-trash/American residents.
From May 15 to September 15 on weekends and holidays only, you can't park there, however you can park there Monday through Friday as long as it's not Memorial day, fourth of July or Labor day! Kinda stupid for the residents since they can't have friends over on the weekends for BBQs, unless the friends take the bus, because pple can only park in their driveways/garage (can fit a maximum of three cars).
The residents have a great deal with Kingsborough community college that allows them to use Kingsborough's beach during the summer; Manhattan Beach is a public beach and what ends up happening in the summer is that it gets swamped with ghetto trash from east new york who totally trash the beach; kingsborough beach, however is off limits to manhattan beach residents and kingsborough students/faculty only.
It borders Sheepshead Bay and Brighton Beach, so lots of shopping and restaurants, the only thing that sucks is that stupid assh&les park their cars on shore blvd and make lots of noise all night during the summer.

Chicks Beach is known mainly to the locals of Virginia Beach as a place where they can enjoy the beach without having to worry about running into tourists, especially in the Summer. This neighborhood is known for its laid-back vibe, and it's one of the most socially tolerant areas of the city. Many great bars/restaurants are in this area too, including places like The Green Parrot and Zia Marie's.
This neighborhood is mostly made up of large beach homes, smaller beach cottages/bungalows, and mixed-family condos.

Get the beach ballhead mug."Down the Beach" is a phrase originating from California surf culture, used to define someone who is a kook, generally meaning that they should beat it and go surf down the beach. In context, it is often shouted indirectly, as a statement to your friends or other surfers indicating there are kooks in the water. Hopefully the kooks hear you and get the message. On occasion it is shouted directly at the person, which basically means beat it and go surf somewhere else.
ex. 1: "Down the Beach!" (or just DTB)
ex. 2: "Oh shit, check out who's paddling out; Down the Beach!"
ex. 3: That guy is so down the beach (often abbreviated as DTB).
ex 4: "Yeah, check out this guy - DOWN THE BEACH!"
