This word comes from all the way back when white slave owners hired Asian immigrants in America to build the railroads. The name came from the mockery of the white slave owners when they imitated the Chinese language, mandarin, and said words such as "ching chong", or "ling ling". This word is very racist and very offensive, and should be never used. If it is used, never say it in front of an Asian.
