A nice way to say stop talking especially if you’re beating a point to death. It’s like a safeword for too much talking about a subject matter or too much talking in general. Just like popcorn which burns easy after 2 min, good conversations need a safe way out of they are going too long but need to not be rushed either

Person 1: “Blah blah blah, blah blah, blah blah blah blah...blah blah blah, and blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah (2 min later) blah”
Person 2: “Popcorned!”
Person 1: “Ah, ok.”

2) verb-The act of bending and contorting on political and socioeconomic issues in order to appeal to the largest number of voters to win an election. politician, Democrat, Republican, political party, DC, drain the swamp, Congress, President, origami, Trump, Obama, Clinton, Big Tent Party, Washington DC

I get so tired of these DC politicians engaging in poliorigami in order to get votes for the midterm elections.

Popcorn Media

Popcorn Media is media that is not forward-thinking. It enslaves the black and pan African narrative in stereotypical thought which does not enable, empower, and often chooses the lowest common popular culture thought in hopes of views rather than substance.

I was on Blavity looking to read dope content but it was just popcorn media.
I can't watch BET, most of their shows end up being Popcorn Media.
