foul weather fan

A sports fan who only supports his team when they struggle. They routinely root for the under dog.

It can also be applied to fans of other things, in particualar indie music. When a band makes it big, their foul weather fans will write them off as "sellouts."

Opposite of fair-weather fan, one who only supports a sports team when they do well.

Bob only liked the Giants until they won 88 games in 2009. Now that they won the 2010 World Series, he won't go to games any more. What a foul weather fan.

Jay only liked Indie Snob Band #675 until they made it big with their hit "Two Chords" which succeeded to to the lack of Dave Navarro and his 2 chords of bland on the airwaves.

the act of dressing for TOTAL sunshine; swim trunks or bikini, sandals/chanklas, turning on the heat in your place as well as all lights, tropical drink or lime in whatever beer you are drinking while its overcast, foggy, raining and or winter outdoors.

Weather Boarding(verb)

A form of social torture by showing your friends in the Midwest or on the East Coast pictures of sunny Southern California while they are stuck inside during yet another snowstorm.

I spent most of the morning at work "Weather Boarding" the guys in the Chicago office.

weather grandpa

or grandma if refering to a girl): an offensive term for a person who is always quetching about, as the name suggests, about the weather.

N.B: this term was named based my personal observation that it's mostly old grumpy grandmas and grandpas that quetch about the weather.

everybody hates a weather grandpa, especially when the person doing the complaining is under 40 of age and is driving everyone around them nuts.
