Sacramento

Sacramento is not a "small town" at all. In fact it has about half a million people here. Yes it is smaller compared to other compared to other cities, like Los Angeles and San Diego, but it's still not a small town. There are little to no cows here, as you have to travel further out of the city to see any sort of agriculture. Sactown is a beloved city by all who live there and is one of the most diverse and racially integrated cities in America. About 35% of Sacramento is White, 26% Hispanic, 14% Black, 18% Asian, 5% mixed race, 2% other.

The schools here are medicore, so many choose to go to private school, but the youth in Sac are passionate and intelligent individuals. Kids in Sac march in Women's rallies and speak up for their beliefs, while also working hard to do well in their schoolwork, sport, or anything they enjoy. They spend most of their weekends out and about, exploring the city and taking amazing pictures. There is always something to do in Sactown, whether it's a new art exhibit or a huge football game (Holy Bowl), weekends in Sac are never boring.

Of course there is still the ghetto (Oak Park and South Sac), but there are always going to be places like that in urban environments.

The weather is beautiful year-round, as it doesn't stay just one temperature. The summers are hot and once it hits winter, everyone bundles up and prepares for the holidays.

You: Man, I love Sactown. I could never leave my home.

Friend: I wish I could live there, Sacramento is such an amazingly diverse and beautiful city.

Sacred Tree

The date December 21st, 2012 A.D. sacrilibidinous

adj. a word describing something that combines the better aspects of "sacrilegious" and "libidinous." More nuanced and purposeful than "racy," or "risque," more descriptive than simply "dirty-minded," can be used to describe a wide spectrum of mind-sets, positions, clothing, objects and situations. Generally used with a positive connotation although implying a certain degree of forbidden character, it can also be used to connote a level of ambiguity as to how someone feels about the sexual character of a thing/person/situation.

person 1: "how's the love life going?"
person 2: "wow--my new squeeze has a seriously sacrilibidinous mind, it's GREAT!"

Person 1: "what do you think of the new girl at work?"
Person 2: "cute, and did you see that gleam in her eye? Something sacrilibidinous going on there, I know it."

Person 1: "I was at the museum the other day looking at these ancient Hindu fertility sculptures--I was raised Baptist, there's something seriously sacrilibidinous going on there..."
Person 2: "Geez, stop being so suburban..."

Sacramunchco

Sacromunchco is an area of Sacramento, California that has more midgets per capita than any other area in the United States. It all began when Charlie Becker opened a hamburger joint called "Small Fries," (which is now known as Burgers and Brew), and began selling "mini burgers." Charlie was the actual Mayor of Munchkinland in the movie, the Wizard of Oz. Due to his part in the movie, Charlie became famous very quickly and his restaurant was a big hit. Two of his co-stars, Jakob Gerlich and Harry Doll (both members of the Lollipop Guild) were looking for work at the time, so Charlie hired them. All three were single at the time; eventually found just the right women to marry, and settled in the area to raise families. Charlie had 4 children, 2 of them midgets; Jakob had 7 children, 3 of them midgets; and Harry had 2 children, one being a midget. Because the restaurant was so successful, the families stayed in Sacramento for many years. Other midgets were attracted to the area because of the notoriety that the 3 families obtained, thus creating a small community of midgets. The public eventually lost it's interest in the restaurant, and the business was sold to another company. The public, however, has not lost its intrique with midgets. Sacromunchco (downtown Sacramento) is a great area to go people watching. One has the opporturnity to see midgets of all ages. Unfortunately, it has also become famous for those undesireable characters who have a secret fetish for midgets.

Hey baby, take me somewhere like Sacramunchco so I can get a small hot dog with my small fries!
