avento

Avento is a fast-paced team sport. The central object of the game is a ball (although sometimes multiple balls can be used). The field on which it is played is not flat, but can contain small hills/walls/tunnels. The most important rule is that no player may have continuous contact with the ball for over a second. (Bouncing the ball between hands is allowed.) Points are scored by throwing/kicking the ball through a hole in the wall at the opposite side of the field.

During a game of Avento, I managed to shake off my direct opponent in one of the tunnels, after which I managed to throw the ball through the scoring holes.

Adventureer

ad-ven-chur-EEE-er
Noun: someonewho sleeps with multiple people, male and female, attempting to "explore" their sexuality. They will use the excuse "I was just exploring my sexuality, and I'm not into you" when they dump you because they don't like long-term relationships. You may find them at parties or outdoor events where you don't need an invite because they pick people up at social eventsl like these. These people seem naive when you question their motifs, and will ALWAYS deny being an adventureer or knowing what it is.

Julie: man, did you see John last night? He was totally coming on to me!

James: watch out, he's an adventureer! He went after me a few weeks ago!
