Ephemeral Selfie: The concept of imprinting a moment while looking at the mirror as a replacement of taking an actual selfie, encoding the moment itself in the brain.
The idea of Ephemeral Selfie is initiated by Manila Sawaby on May first 2026. The term suggests preserving a moment as a private memory instead of public database. It encourages living in the moment and enjoying the memory in it's raw form. Moreover it goes to show that the fleeting memories are the most precious memories and that we as people who are just as fleeting should appreciate them.
The concept motivates cherishing the moment as an engram, which can be less likely lost in social media, database or personal device.
