Spike Jones isn't really hot, but Rivers from Weezer is! So is little drummer guy at the beginning of From the Works of Spike Jones the dvd!

One of the kingdom Animalia, with the analagous structure similar to class Aves. Original ancestry unkown, commonly thought to have been the result of a failed attempt to artifically inseminate an infant. Several differences between species, incl. a breed which possesses wheels and moves using flight momentum.

Popularity Spike

When you have a lot of friends overloading you with IMs that causes a bit of lag.

I was just hanging on facebook when I had 10 friends come online and chat me and the popularity spike caussed me to lag and almost crash.

lag spike

A term used to cover up poor performance of a player in a multiplayer game. The term describes the delay in the thought process of the player and his inability to perform as the rest of the group would expect from a player with their claimed experience and gear.

"Sorry for wiping the group, I'm getting major lag spikes."

(Player realises they messed up and are at risk of being kicked from a party): "Sorry for stepping on that bomb, I'm getting major lag spikes."

Team member: "FFS kick the noob paladin, they've done less dps than both tanks for the last five wipes and they've stood in the fire every time!"
Paladin: "Sorry. I've been getting lag spikes all evening."
