Docktail

Noun. A cocktail of any variety which is consumed on a dock in or adjacent to a body of water, preferably at sunset. Often consumed in the presence of friends and family, Docktails are a key ingredient to long lasting summer memories. Common New England Docktail attire includes madras shorts, sunglasses and a pastel polo. The first known use of the term "Docktail" occurred on July 9, 2013 along the shores of Buzzards Bay.

Person 1: We're heading to the dock at 6:30, any interest in joining us for Docktails?

Person 2: I'm always game for a Docktail - I'll see you there!

doctor who fandom

A delightful group of doctor who fans (aka whovians) that enjoy two hearted aliens, bow ties, and police boxes that occasionally have their living selves transferred into women named "Idris". Members of the doctor who fandom are also well adapted to change. They have to be considering that the main character gains a new actor constantly. It sounds odd, but some whovians (like me) prefer to call it "ood".

bush doctrine

The definition of Bush Doctrine has changed over time. A chronology as presented by the phrase's originator, Charles Krauthammer:

1) 6/4/2001 - Bush administration policies of unilaterally withdrawing from the ABM treaty and rejecting the Kyoto protocol, together with others, amounted to a radical change in foreign policy that should be called the Bush doctrine.

2) Post-9/11 - Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists

3) Post-Iraq - A doctrine of preemptive war

4) Current - The idea that the fundamental mission of American foreign policy is to spread democracy throughout the world.

I used the Bush doctrine and told him he had to take a side!
