Webosphere

All things Web 2.0/social media -- that is: Twitterville, bloggerville, Google apps, Google docs, Google reader, Google groups, online communities/discussion boards/forums, LinkedIn, Facebook,Brazen Careerist and all other social networking sites all lumped into one huge World Wide Webosphere.

WebAssign

The most idiotic homework website ever made. The only things I have gained by using it are a deeper understanding of my inner psychopath and a blood lust for whoever is responsible for creating it.

I just wasted 6 hours of my life doing 5 WebAssign assignments. I now want to go drive my car off a cliff, unfortunately Indiana is too flat.

Websterduck

The Websterduck is a humanoid species of duck that feeds off of the souls and emotions of others. They love plants, and only eat pages out of the Webster Dictionary in order to add to their vocabulary; in hopes to take over the world. However until then they are often found as bloggers, writers, fangirls, and other similarly related groups. They enjoy torturing fictional characters, dancing through life, and some very elite Webesterducks, like the master, enjoy the majestic music of the french horn.

Wooow. Brid is such a Websterduck. I can't believe I never noticed before.

"Phishing" and "viral marketing" are a great examples of Webisms that eventually entered worldwide parlance.
