FUCKING THING SUCKS

when someone posts an article about (x) doing (x)that is not welcomed by the majority of forum users. The phrase can be spiced by adding: "FUCK IT, WE'LL DO IT LIVE!"

Ex. 1:
A digg user has just posted an article about Rush Limbaugh doing (x).

Digg user's reply: "FUCKING THING SUCKS"

Ex. 2:
A digg user has just posted an article about Hillary Clinton doing (x).
Reply: "FUCKING THING SUCKS!"
Reply to reply: "FUCK IT WE'LL DO IT LIVE!"

Thing

you're associated mainly with that person and their basically the only person you do physical things with but you have some slip ups because considering that you're not officially together with a label you're allowed to let your eyes hands and lips wander a bit. You both have to understand that your not a priority until you have decided you guys want to be more than just a thing. A thing is like a step towards thinking about being more because you care about the person but can end in relationship or hatred. All depending on the people and if they discussed and agreed on what they both expect. You have to be on the same page or things get messy. And you have to have the same idea of an outcome. Even though the outcomes are never certain things can fade off where as relationships end much more abruptly. Things can be something one day and nothing the next it all depends on the actions &feelings of both parties they're best when feelings are kept minimal until discussed more thoroughly with both parties

"Are you two a thing?"

thin white duke

Musical persona used by the Undisputable greatest musical artist of all-time, David Bowie, which was created in the late 70's. The Thin White Duke was Bowie at his musical peak, clouded by a cocaine-induced haze in which he recorded the album, "Station to Station," but claims not recalling doing so, due to his excessive cocaine use. Arguably the most controversial and darkest of Bowie characters.

Guy who knows nothing about music: "Hey, wouldn't you agree that Eminem's Slim Shady character is the greatest musical persona of all-time."

Guy who knows music: "Hell no, shithead, the Thin White Duke is far more abstract, musically talented, and creative. PWNED!"

This Thing of Ours translated from the Italian phrase, "La Cosa Nostra", also meaning "Mafia". This thing of ours refers to the Italians who created the modern Mafia, it was "their thing", "their own thing" that they created.

When one is so basic that one cannot describe their own actions, they use this phrase and think it's cute. It is not actually cute in real life, it just pisses everyone off due to the lack of information or care to explain any detail of what occurred.
