From Persian -stân "place". 2) A superfluous suffix to a place name in general: New Yorkistan, Californistan, Texastan.

A type of fan that uses twitter, tumblr, or instagram that is obsessed with a celebrity, band, artist, etc. Usually very invested and follows their 'idol' closely. Used to be known as groupies or fan girls/fandoms.
