To abstain oneself from all of the drugs. With obvious exceptions of copious amounts of marijuana(giggle bush) and psychedelics.

Sjoerd is a name from the Netherlands for males which means guardian of the victory. The female variant is Sjoerdje which means the same thing.

The one guy (commonly a "bro") that is sober in a group of all drunk people. Sobero's duty is to take care of the group and make sure nothing goes wrong. It's the highest form of responsibility in a alcoholic group.

"If you ever need a sobero, Sean's the guy."

"Man, last night, I had to be the sobero in this group of maybe 20 drunk girls."

Kentucky Sober

"Kentucky sober" refers to the physical and mental state of a person after they have been to Kentucky Fried Chicken and entered a food coma that was so intense they got meat sweats. This results in them being "Kentucky hungover" the next day until the effects start to abate and they become "Kentucky sober".

Sorry, I can't hang out today I was at KFC last night and I'm not Kentucky sober yet...
