ramen, contrary to regular belief, is a bowl of noodles and broth with assorted sliced meats and vegetables laid out on top of it. It is commonly served at stands and resturants in Japan. It is most widely known in america as the dehydrated version with noodles and flavoring powder in a styrofoam cup. this is not, however, the correct usage of the term. the term most peoplemean to say is "instant lunch" or "top ramen"

Noodles usually in the form of a brick or in a cup. They are easy to make and quite good. There are packets that contain seasoning that gives the ramen flavor. Those packets are found inside of the package that the ramen brick comes in. There are many different flavors of ramen.
