During part of the 20th century, science fiction fans (and maybe some other fandoms) used "neo" the way newbie and noob are used today.

What are you, a neo? Only neos and mundanes use "sci fi". A trufan (true fan) knows it's SF.
(That was before the Sci Fi Channel, of course.)

Neo

A neo is a guy who will go to the most extreme extents to get with a girl. Examples such as saying you will marry the girl you are simply trying to bang, that you want her kids and that you would never cheat on her even though she is labelled as hoe #69 in your contacts are perfect examples of a neo. He is not a simp because he gets tons of girls, usually talking to many at the same time. Bonus points if the girls are addicted to a neo.
