E.g.: Your boss has you enter, into the company's sales pipeline , an opportunity to close an enormous sale as though it were a real opportunity with potential revenue, but there is no chance of closing that sale. E.g.: Someone banters on about a job opportunity as though they were going to land the job when in reality they are grossly unqualified and have no chance of gaining the job.
