A good name for a hospital, now that people get shot at the hospital.

Patient-Where do I go now? I just got shot at the hospital.
Doctor- That's a good question, they might send you to the morgue next. They just sent a couple people from the burn center to the morgue after it caught on fire a few days ago. This trauma center hasn't had this happen yet.

trauma shaming

When someone who has been affected mentally or psychologically by a trauma, or even a bad upbringing, is criticized for the behavior they display as a result of the trauma, with those criticizing seemingly forgetting, or not knowing the reason behind this behavior. Some may continue to criticize the person with the trauma even when explained the reason, claiming that the trauma doesn't "justify" their behavior. In the case of fictional characters, expect one to call a trauma-stricken character "annoying" for lashing out.

Commenter: "Ugh, just watching Degrassi Junior High right now and Spike is so rude towards Shane! Like why is she like that towards that poor boy?"
Another commenter: "Dude, she literally has an absent father and she got pregnant at 14. Stop trauma shaming.".

trauma-tripping

Similar to guilt-tripping, this is when someone brings up traumatic experiences that aren't relevant to the conversation at all, and is only brought up so that they can make a person feel bad. Usually, this is done in response to being called out for something

Megan: "I can't believe you stole my shoes. You could've just asked me.

Naomi: Well, I have cancer so the least you could do is let me borrow your stuff sometimes.

Megan: Why are you trauma-tripping me right now...?

A person who feasts on the trauma of others and will only show up as a “friend” when others are in crisis. This is typically a means of deflection; if the trauma vulture can pick apart the carcass of someone else’s trauma they can avoid acknowledging their own
