What a journalist is supposed to be called today

Well since modern journalists are opinionated and lazy and don't want to do real investigating journalism, we'll lets just call them narrative enforcer cuz they work for a private business and

" enforce" a narrative. The term first appeared on fox news.

Yeah this targeting of "Anti-Americanism" stuff...

Hym "Enforcing thought crimes. That's what it IS. They are enforcing thought crimes... By doing that. Like, to say that being 'Anti-Captialist' or whatever makes you a target of surveillance... That MEANS (literally) they are doing, like, Orwellian surveillance on people who espouse 'anti-american' or 'anti-christian' rhetoric.... And THAT... Is 'enforcing thought crimes.'
