Textipation

That anticipation experienced when you are texting your friend, beloved, or even a coworker and all you see are those the 3 little bouncing dots ... You are on the edge of your seat waiting for the message. The bouncing dots tell you they are there composing something good (or is it bad?) The anticipation is just TOO much.

lost in textlation

This is when a text message was sent meaning one thing, but was misinterpreted by the recipient either because they couldn't hear the intonation in the senders voice, didn't realize it was meant jokingly and/or sarcastically, or, any other misinterpretation of the text message senders true and original meaning.

"Dude, I was definitely joking when I said your Mom was at my house. I can't believe you got mad. It was just "lost in textlation."

When sacarsm, humor, wit, emapthy, apathy, and really just everything gets twisted, lost, confused, royally screwed, and taken too far via texting and/or sexting.

Emoticons are a lame ass way to make this easier.

Jen's morning after text to Steve: "Oh my gosh, I forgot to tell you last night that I have Herpes."

Jen...still waiting....wondering why Steve hasn't called.

Jen should've used a smiley face to prevent her "humor" being lost in textlation. :)

n. condition or situation where after texting another for hours and all topics have been thoroughly explored, no further texts, acronyms, emoticons, etc. are possible.

After text partner divulges unimaginable news to which one cannot respond. Akin to checkmate in chess.

I texted Matt for six hours last night, til we had nothing left to say. I was like textmate! I'm going to bed.

Textlationship

A relationship between two people using text messages. Really just an added step in the relationship process but probably makes it easier for the verbally challenged to "break the ice"

The equivalent to 'talkative,' except in the form of text.

"I think Brian is having a bad day, he's not as textative as he usually is."

"Hold on, got a text. Dammit, it's that chick from last night again."
"Dude, she is totally into you, look how textative she is!"
