Scammys

An award show held once a year- in which various artists are given golden awards that are shaped like gramophones to signify relevance. Talent is unfortunately not a factor. They are HUGELY know for snubbing Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj.

I'm not watching the scammys this year, they snubbed Taylor this time.

sammy glick

This name comes from the antagonist of Budd Schulberg's novel What Makes Sammy Run? In the novel, Sammy Glick is a heartless go-getter who will stop at nothing to pursue his ambitions, regardless of the consequences to others. Thus, a "sammy glick" is a person who exemplifies these same personality traits. More common names include "glick" and "glickster".

Disgruntled employee: "Yeah, my boss is a real sammy glick. That heartless bastard doesn't care who the hell he has the step on to get his way."
