Short for Sand ninja. Sninja is only used for people are too lazy to say the full name of a sand ninja, and those people never live to see another day.

Shinx is the low level electric type of the Diamond and Pearl Poke'mon games for DS, the equivalent of Pikachu in R/B/G/Y/FR/LG, Mareep in G/S/C, and Elektrike in R/S/E. Shinx is statistically, the worst. It has high attack and low special attack, making its electric attacks weak. Even with a Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) it rarely is able to accumulate much damage. The only STAB attack it learns that actually makes use of it's high attack is a new move called Thunder Fang, which it dosn't learn till level 33.
