A condition caused by keeping one's eye too close to the scope of a rifle when firing. The kickback forces the scope into the shooter's eye, leaving a nasty bruise.
Jeff was so inent on sniping the grouse that he got scope-eye. What a scope-eyed bitch.

Scope Kiss 

The mark around your eye when you are "kissed" by the scope of a rifle. Often a shooter will receive a scope kiss when their eye is too close to the scope when the rifle recoil snaps them in the eye.
Danny had a giant scope kiss after he sent 8 down range with some messed up optics.
