Pre-event Prevention

When there is an event oncoming, and you decide to leave any work you have until after the event has ended. This can be because it feels like you cannot get much done in the time until the event starts, or a subtle means of procrastination.

Louis has a badminton match in 2 hours, and a physics test tomorrow, but because the badminton match is 'only' in two hours, he decides to just start studying once the match has ended. He is practising pre-event prevention of his studies.

Ford Prefect

A car made by the British division of the Ford Motor Company, built between 1938-1959 (not including the period of World War 2). It was basically a four door version of the sit up and beg Ford Popular, which like its two-door counterpart, is popular on the hot rod circuit since the 1960's. It was lightweight, rear wheel drive and mechanically simple.

The Second incarnation was the 100E, which bore a resemblance to scaled down 1955 Chevrolet. A more advanced design that used a monocoque construction and a McPherson Strut front suspension. However, it still used the outdated flathead (sidevalve) engine that was in production until the early 1960's. It was replaced by the Ford Anglia 105E in 1959.

Trivia: The car gave Douglas Adams the inspiration for the character of the same name in Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy .

aftersplash prevention

creating a structure made of toilet paper to avoid the aftersplash sensation. The toilet paper is placed under the dump approximately 1-3 seconds before landing for maximum results.

Levit, who's smarter than Diem, studies aftersplash prevention and has developed a structure which helps to avoid aftersplash time and time again.
