"Price is Right" Rule

The "Price is Right" rule is used in any game or contest where the one closest to the target number without going over is the winner.

We all bet $25 each we could guess the fat guy's weight using the "Price is Right" rule.

One who makes derogatory or argumentative comments on a message board about pricing in a "For Sale" ad.

Example: set of 4 wheels & tires $400.

Post: Wow, that's high I just saw the same ones on ebay for $300. Here's the link....

Seller: Hey price-police, make an offer or go blow your whistle in someone else's thread!

Price Chopper

A grocery store run by a the Golub Family who are ignoramuses and support corrupt politicians such as Joe Bruno. This grocery store chain is known for overly inflated prices and employees who are on the bottom of the IQ scale. Their customer service department should be named the customer "Disservice" department. Price Chopper is known for trying to screw their customers by mis marking their products thus scanning at higher prices and coupons whose bar codes do not work though resulting in receipts which are often 15-20% higher than they should be.

Dude, I'm going to the Ghetto Chopper. Let's see how Price Chopper tries to screw me today

The act of raising the prices due to increased demand and/or low inventory of a product, service, etc.

Price gouging-The stores in the CA gold rush would price gouge because they were the only in town and the miners needed the supplies.
