Chances are it conveys the message that whatever you just said isn't true, or you don't have all the facts straight, but ok.
Some use it as a way to blow you off, show their lack of concern and to intentionally upset you.
When a man says ok, he can mean " Think what you want " or " Say what you want.". He can also mean he's fed up with whatever is being brought to his attention and no longer is interested in arguing about it.
When a woman says ok, she means " I'll show you. " or she too is done and fed up with the situation brought to her.
