minimum wage hero

A person that works for a minimum wage job, or close to it, usually in Wal-Mart, Best Buy, McDonald's, Applebee's, Quiznos or a bank that takes their job too seriously and acts like they own the business. If the place was being robbed, they would fight the robber. They scrutinize every coupon coming in like they work for the FBI. They spend inordinate amounts of their own time and money taking care of the place, often coming in on their own time "to see how things are going." Many have the impression their efforts will eventually be rewarded with a better job with a living wage. That is true sometimes, but when it isn't, they have lots of trouble figuring that out. Most of their fellow employees hate them.

A great example of a minimum wage hero is Jennifer Aniston's co-worker, Brian, from Office Space, and his "flair."

Michelle is a minimum wage hero because she virtually works 24/7 at Best Buy, likes to hang out at work on her days off, and even though her boss doesn't pull his weight, she does everything for him for $8 an hour. She thinks she will become a district manager someday, but she's been there for 5 years and hasn't even been considered to run a store!

Minimi

Name of the M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) deveoloped by Fabrique Nationalie.

Also named SAW as it wasdeveloped as part of the Squad Automatic Weapon project to find a suitable light machinegun for use in infantry teams.

The prototype designation was XM-249. The M249 is used by US troops mainly, but is also replacing the SA80LSW as the british infantry light support weapon.

Called largly teh SAW by US troops and Minimi by UK troops.

"Get that Minimi set up on the 3rd floor, east side, that way you can get good field of fire on the square"

Minimaxing

Trying to get the most out of situation by reducing the negatives outcomes to a minimum and increasing the positive outcomes to the maximum. Widely used in videogames jargon. Certain games have a specific set of rules available to the player and can be exploited in such manner.
The term "Minimax" is a mathematical concept applied in fields such as game theory, artificial intelligence, algorithmics, etc.

- I need this armor to increase my strenght and this boots to increase speed while mantaining load capacity...
- Come on! Stop minimaxing... You're stripping the fun out of the game!

minimal wear

A condition of a weapon skin in cs:go that comes right before factory new. Typically bought by thrifty players who have realised that in most cases, the difference between factory new and minimal wear can only be observed under a microscope and by the size of the dent in your already fund deprived wallet

I was going to buy the factory new tec-9|brass, but I saved enough money to buy a car by going with the visually identical minimal wear variant. After some time however, I did realise there is a small scratch inside the chamber, so that must be why it's minimal wear.

Minimoose

(1) Noun. Invader Zim's little-known sidekick. Communicates through squeaks, and is able to persuade large masses of people with a single squeak.

(2) Noun. Any extremely tiny members of the moose family who communicate through squeeks. Standardly purple in color.
