Narrow-minded, narcissistic, self-centered, and ranking themselves as higher on the race hierarchy within Asian countries, yet they speak in this guttural, sing-song, grammatically broken form of English called Singlish. Which makes them sound like they're having a stroke or some chromosome was missing from their DNA. Think Tourette's mixed with a groom at his drunken bachelor party. That's the sound they make. Either way, they're different from Hong Kong Chinese or Mainland Chinese. At least they came from a real sense of culture and a long rich history and narrative. Chingaporeans see themselves as vastly superior because of new wealth so they act cultured and drape themselves in money to compensate for a dystopian sense of identity and heavily bruised sense of self because of their freakishly controlling environment. But in the end, not realizing a loser wrapped in money is still....well, a loser. Socially awkward people with little instinct to say the right thing at the right time or occasion, gifted with no social grace, these are the people that you don't want to come to your party if you want to still keep your friends. But the best part is they have no clue that they're awkward. This probably explains why on the world stage, nobody has ever really heard of them and many scurry home to their little island to be with their tribe. Awkward begets awkward.
