Conformist Preacher

People who go off ranting about how everyone should conform to a certain religion, government, economic structure, or culture and society. They will often judge you for going against the government, a corporation, an organized religion or cultural behaviors. These are often times teachers. They go off instead of teaching students to think for themselves, they teach them crap that is approved by someones standards.

I had this one conselor who was such a conformist preacher. She never taught me to stick up for myself, but just to accept other people "authority". Like I asked her for advise on how to deal with a pushy older cousin, and she told me that she is older than me, and I need to accept her authority, PERIOD.

Christian Apologists are such Conformist preachers too. They go out and criticize anyone who does not follow in their leaders theological system. And then they claim that their theological system is better by some form of bible thumping.

This teacher is such a conformist preacher. She punished me, despite the fact I did nothing wrong. Only because they are under the impression that thats just the way it is, and I could get in trouble for that.

Conformist Hunter

1. One who trolls around his campus, local mall, or internet sites(possibly even Urban Dictionary) to find those who are guilty of 'conforming' (a.k.a Conformists a.a.k.a Everyone else who he/she does not know personally...) and either glare menacingly or shout mean insults at them about being 'slaves of the establishment.' Possibly a hypocrite who has consumed too many free-thought books.

2. Probably a good idea for a reality show.

Guy 1: Woah! That new Paramore CD rules!

Guy 2: I know!

Guy 3: You are pigs! PIGS!! Wallow in your conformist bullshit you scum! *runs off to the discount bookstore*

Guy 2: That guy was wiggidy-wack!

Guy 1: Wasn't he wearing a Paramore T-shirt when we came in here...?

Guy 2: Oh snap, he's one of those conformist hunters I've heard so much about!

wannabe non-conformist

1. A person who generally shocks 'normal' people but annoys actual non-comformists by saying and doing things that millions of other people have done in an atempt to be a rebel. They also don't mean a single word they say.

Non-conformist

A non-conformist is somebody whos stands up for what they believe despite what anyone thinks. They can buy what a conformist does not because its in and everyone has but just because they like it. They do things for themselves and not to be excepted by society despite being ridiculed for not having Air Force Ones unless they like them. There isn't a store in the mall called the non-conformist store where people go to be different. Non-conformity is all about doing what you want and not listening to others opinions.

Non-Conformist-I just bought the nicest Air-Forces not because everyone has them but because he likes them

Wanna Be Non Conformist-Ew you're such a conformist everyone has those shoes, I made my own shoes because noone has them you're such a follower.

Non-Conformist-If I like them isn't that all that matters, I mean isn't that what being a non-cofformist is all about doing what you wanna do? If I listen to you and don't buy them won't I be conforming to what your idea of a non-conformist is?

Non-conformist

Being in a secure state of mind in which you do not care what anybody but you thinks about you. If the whole world were like this, then there would not be as much violence. If you are scene, emo, goth, etc. then you are in no way a non-conformist. You are
conformity at its very worst. If you can honestly say to yourself that you dont care what others think of you then there is a chance you are a non-conformist. The biggest hint though is when you are recognized by people because there is not another person who looks or acts as you do.

Emo kid- *flips hair* i'm such a non-conformist *flips hair*
me- oh yeah? then why does every kid youre friends with look exactly like you?
