A completely nonsensical or exaggerated statement, idea, or worry. Especially one that’s so over-the-top it’s kind of funny

Friend: “I can’t go to the gym. Everyone there is judging me.”
You: “Blatant blanderdashery. Nobody’s judging you. They’re too busy avoiding eye contact.”
