When someone, usually someone with a "tude" (or stereotypical, overprotective fathers) threatens to do something to someone else if that other person commits a certain act.

"If you lay one hand on that donut, I'm going to punch you into next week!"

"If you so much as post one copyrighted video, we'll sue you out of your skin!"

These are hypothreatical situations.

Akin Situation

An occurrence in the electronic game of Dice Wars in which a player has two or less territories which usually results in the early elimination of the player within the first three to six turns of the game, or when a player is left with one territory for the remainder of the game until one of the other players (whether it be CPU or Human) puts him/her out of his/her misery.

"I started a game of Dice Wars with my comrades and was doing quite well until I found myself to be in an Akin Situation."

"Oh no! I only have one territory left! I seem to be in an Akin Situation! This is not fair!"
