Shinboesque refers to the distinctive visual style, ways and mannerisms that director Akiyuki Shinbo has spread into the anime industry at large, especially through Studio Shaft and Studio Pierrot.

Even at Dragon Ball Z’s massively messy launch, Minoru Maeda resorted to Akiyuki Shinboesque directing methods to emphasise his perspectives on Goku and his son Gohan.

A Shinbo Run refers to the mad rapid running of characters in many an Akiyuki Shinbo directed work.

Perhaps amongst the first characters to do a Shinbo Run is Remy in Goshogun: The Time Étranger.

A Shin kick

Everyone know one of the most painful places to be kicked that hurts boys and girls is the shin and to call someone a ‘Shin Kick’ it means that they are so annoying that you want to kick them in the shins hard and hurt them because of their stupidity or for just being an asshole
