Under the guise of 'trail hunting', the hunts have continued to torment and kill wildlife in defiance of the hunting ban, which is why hunt saboteurs are still needed.
Hunt sabs are mostly vegan and are motivated by compassion; they do not harm any animal and rely on voice and horn calls and harmless 'anti-mate' citronella spray to mask the scent of the hunted animal.
Many hunt sabs have been seriously injured and two have been killed by hunters.
