God Shot

A colloquial term commonly used among addicts/drug users where a person intentionally injects themselves with an amount of drugs (usually opiods) that would cause a fatal overdose. This is usually done when said addict/drug user no longer wants to cope with the ramifications of their use and believe that they cannot get sober under any means.

"Did you hear Tony took a God Shot yesterday?"
"Aw man, that sucks! He was such a nice guy!"
