Devicelexia

Noun: The confusion that results when using multiple devices and you try to control one device with the control that belongs to another device.

I had another case of devicelexia while wearing earbuds and listening to a podcast on my iPhone while also on my iPad as the TV was on and I wanted to hear something better, so I grabbed the remote and turned it down. It took me a few moments to realize that the remote doesn’t control the iPhone.
