Not every female is a mama's girl, it's about the same as with guys.

The mama's girl wanted all females to think that the guy was saying that all females were mama's girls, when some had been daddy's girls as a kid. Often an eldest daughter or an only child is closer to the father.

Someone that deep down knows they are still the soft mama's girl they were as a kid, hiding from the monsters of her past. Under the hellion on the surface, the person she was never changed.

The mama's girl always imitated a tomboy as a defense mechanism, to get people around her to protect her (even the true tomboys would stand up for her and defend her, though they didn't know her well).
