Self date

It is when one goes out by themselves

to have some time to think, relax or do stupid shit. This is typically done when one does not feel like themselves or just after a stressful period in their life.
Usually one would splurge on themselves

A serial dater is a person who dates for entertainment. He/She will go on new date after new date for the company, drinks and meals never really intending on moving forward in a relationship of any depth. He/She dates like some people watch TV perhaps going to breakfast, lunch, dinner several days a week and likely never a third date with the same person. All for free or very near free.

I went out on a great date with a very attractive person only to find out she did that every night with someone new, because she’s a serial dater.
