When you fall in love with a fictional character from a movie/tv show and it turns out the actor looks nothing like them in real life. E.g Aragorn from lord of the rings is played by Viggo Mortensen who looks nothing like him in real life

Man 1: Bro I’m in love with Aragorn

Man 2: yeah, shame the actor aged like milk
Man 1: that’s the Viggo Mortensen effect
