A called out warning by a member of the Australian Defence Forces (usually the Army) whenever servicemen from an arm of the forces considered to be a next of poofters are approaching. The response it to stand with your backs to the wall.

"Here comes the Navy! Poofter drill, everyone!"

"Oh, fuck off!"

The act of ignoring, avoiding, or not seeking evidence as part of a routine law enforcement investigation as a means to protect the perpetrator. Often simultaneously occurs with the destruction and loss of exculpatory evidence.
