This word isnt commonely used but can mean two things:

1. Some topics got wierd and sticky and over time merged into each other

2. Some topics became stagnate and haven´t evolved or changed much over time.

This word has two allmoast oposite meanings and is used rarely in speech.
soon it may become extinct.
