Floor grit

The small specks of food and/or debris that your crawling children will sample with abandon, giving no heed to whether it is of ingestible quality or not. E.g. Hair, grass, bugs, dog food, screws, plastic.

I had not swept or vacumed in a week, thus the baby had a healthy sampling of floor grit .
