Disney Syndrome

Disney Syndrome takes its name from, you guessed it, Disney. It covers the range of beliefs children have been taught from Disney movies. These children grow up believing these movies to be right and are often disillusioned in adulthood even when shown evidence that life isn't a Disney cartoon.

For example, the idea that little girls will find the knight in shining armour to sweep them off their feet (ie, that perfection in a partner exists), or the belief that wild animals are all cuddly and nice (ie, that bears won't maul you for petting their cub), or that someone will take care of things for them when they are at their lowest are all symptoms of Disney Syndrome
My little girl is hoping a handsome, intelligent and rich man will marry her and live in their castle... I don't have the heart to tell her she suffers from Disney Syndrome.

Post-Vacation Syndrome

Post-Vacation Syndrome (PVS) appears in victims after returning to school/work after a vacation of a week or more. PVS is most common after summer, winter, and spring breaks in grade school and college students. There is no cure for PVS. The victim simply has to wait for it to clear on its own.
-Symptoms include morning lag, skipping class, and late homework. Some cases of forgotten locker combinations have also been reported.
Ex. 1 :
Bill: "Hey, man, you still opening your locker? I walked by here five minutes ago and you were in the same spot!"
Bob :" Yeah, i forgot my combination. Must be Post-Vacation Syndrome."

Ex. 2:
Mom: "Nicole! this is the third time you've missed the bus this week!"
Nicole: "Ugh. Sorry mom...i'm PVS'ing."

Cabot Cove Syndrome

The appearance of dead bodies, small or large amounts, in rural towns and remote locations. Comes from the TV show Muder, She Wrote as death seemingly followed Jessica Fletcher everywhere she traveled.
1. "Looks like they are suffering from a case of Cabot Cove Syndrome".
2. "Cabot Cove Syndrome has struck again, Jessica Fletcher must be around don't you think?"

Blac Chyna syndrome

Women who well get pregnant with any rich guy just to get the money( child support ) and not work as much or at all.
Karen: Would you purposely get pregnant with Trey just because he has a lot of money?
Samantha: No, I don't have Blac Chyna syndrome. I swear, I dont.

Lima syndrome

Unlike Stockholm syndrome, where hostages develop sympathy for their abductor, Lima syndrome is the result of the abductor / kidnapper sympathizing with his hostages.

Occurred in the Japanese Embassy hostage crisis of 1996, when members of a militant movement took hostage hundreds of people attending a party in the official residence of Japan's ambassador to Peru. Within a few days, they set free most of the hostages, including the most valuable ones.
In The World is Not Enough, James Bond thinks Electra King (Sophie Marceau) has Stockholm Syndrome for her kidnapper / lover Renard (Robert Carlyle). However, it turns out that Renard really had Lima Syndrome, and loved Electra deeply.
