Soreness, tenderness, or inflammation in the elbow caused by sitting on one's hand awkwardly or too long in an effort to create the stranger effect; AKA "Strangeritis."

The Associated Press reports Cubs RHP Mark Prior will be unavailable for Saturday's game against the Reds because of stranger elbow.
